USC Beats High Five America, 104-101

SAN DIEGO — Harold Miner scored 44 points, two coming on free throws with 2.6 seconds to play, as USC beat High Five America, 104-101, in an exhibition basketball game at Rancho Bernardo High.
The Trojans ran off to a 23-7 lead behind Miner’s 14 points, but High Five cut it to 53-43 at halftime and briefly took a second-half lead before fading.
Earl Kelley, who played at University of Connecticut, scored 23 points and Kenny Travis, who played at New Mexico, also 23, all in the second half, for High Five.
Duane Cooper had 19 for USC.
