A Tarzana jewelry store was robbed of an estimated $100,000 worth of merchandise by three armed bandits, police said Tuesday.

No one was injured in the robbery Monday at L&H; Jewelry at 19001 Ventura Blvd. near Vanalden Avenue, police said.

Three “neatly dressed” middle-aged people--two men and a woman--entered the store minutes after it opened at 9 a.m. and asked to see wedding ring sets, said Detective Robert Johansen.

After looking at several sets, they asked the co-owner, whose name was not released, to show them another set that was kept in the vault, Johansen said. When he opened the vault, all three pulled out handguns and began to clean out the vault and the display cases, Johansen said. The robbers then fled on foot.

“They took everything. They didn’t leave a bit of jewelry there,” Johansen said. “He has nothing left to sell.”
