Solters to Go It Alone: Veteran show business publicist Lee Solters, who represents such clients as Barbra Streisand and Michael Jackson, said he will leave his longtime partnership in the firm of Solters/Roskin/Friedman as of Jan. 1 to form his own company. “I know it doesn’t sound practical, but it’s what I want to do,” Solters said Wednesday about ending his partnership of 35 years. Solters also represented Frank Sinatra, who is now a client of Solters’ daughter, Susan Reynolds. Solters said he expects to announce some client changes in the next few days.
