Monrovia : New Stop Signs Approved
The City Council voted 4 to 1 Tuesday to install new stop signs at the intersection of Diamond Street and 5th Avenue.
Robert Sandwick, the city’s director of public works, said the stop signs on Diamond Street will help avoid broadside collisions and prevent drivers from scraping their cars’ bottoms on the far side of drainage gutters at the intersection.
City Councilman John Nobrega dissented, saying there are too many stop signs on that block.
