PRO FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : RAIDERS : Shell Gives Best to Jackson
Now that Bo Jackson has acknowledged that his hip injury will prevent him from playing football again, the Raiders have wished him a final farewell.
“We’ll miss him,” Coach Art Shell said. “We hope he’ll have a good career the rest of the way in baseball and have a healthy life.”
Wide receiver Sam Graddy, who has a sore ankle, is listed as probable for Sunday’s game against the Bengals at Cincinnati. Linebacker A.J. Jimmerson is questionable because of a thigh injury.
Bengal quarterback Boomer Esiason (hand), wide receiver Eddie Brown (hernia), safety David Fulcher (kidney), running back Harold Green (knee) and tackles Bruce Reimers (shoulder) and Joe Walter (irregular heartbeat) are questionable. Tackle Anthony Munoz (knee) is probable.
