RAIL FEUD: Dana Reed of the Orange County Transportation Authority wants to dump Yorba Linda City Councilman Henry W. Wedaa from the Air Quality Management District board. . . . Reason: Wedaa favors electrification of rail lines to reduce smog. Reed says that will delay new commuter rail service at least two years. Wedaa, slated to become AQMD chairman in January, responds: “We only want someone to give us a schedule when the rails can be electrified. That won’t delay anything.”
