OUTLOOK

Four returning starters, including all-league performers in point guard Albers (nine assists per game) and Subias (nine points per game) give Lock expectations for much improvement over last season. Lock says his team has good depth, quickness and can get up and down the court very well. Tartans will play man-to-man and pressure trapping defenses. St. Margaret’s has good but not outstanding height with senior Neutz (5-11) and Subias (5-9). Lack of an outstanding shooter, however, means the Tartans will have to work hard for the points they get. Although St. Margaret’s is improved, it will be difficult for the Tartans to crowd into the championship picture with Liberty Christian and Cal Lutheran.
