$120,000 of Bogus Chanel Goods Seized
WESTMINSTER —
About $120,000 worth of sewing machinery and garments illegally bearing the Chanel designer name was confiscated Tuesday from a local wholesaler, police said.
Acting upon information provided by Chanel Corp., detectives seized nearly 1,000 items of clothing and tools about 11 a.m. from Tamorah Marie Designs, Sgt. Michael Mittelstaedt said.
No arrest has been made pending investigation into the business at 15132 Golden West Circle, he said.
