COUNTYWIDE : Supervisors Propose Trails Committee
The Ventura County Board of Supervisors will consider at its Dec. 10 meeting a proposal by Supervisors Maggie Erickson Kildee and Vicky Howard to form a regional trails advisory committee.
The committee would look into the planning and development of regional and subregional trails in the county, tasks now performed by independent groups and agencies.
Erickson Kildee and Howard propose that representatives of these agencies, local and state parks groups, the county’s 10 cities, and members of equestrian, bicycle and hiking groups all serve on the committee.
