Michael Jordan of the Chicago Bulls said he loaned a North Carolina man, James Bouler, $57,000, but a story in the Charlotte Observer said Bouler won the money in a golf match and owes taxes on it.
Bouler, 40, has filed documents in U.S. District Court in Charlotte, N.C., saying Jordan loaned him the money to build a golf driving range in that state.
