Sawyer’s Exclusive: ABC’s Diane Sawyer has lined up an exclusive interview with William Kennedy Smith’s rape accuser for airing Thursday night on “Primetime Live.” An ABC spokeswoman said it has not yet been determined whether the 30-year-old Florida woman will be identified by name and shown without any electronic disguising of her face. Most media organizations have not identified the woman because of a policy against identifying accusers in rape cases. The woman’s attorney, David Roth, said Monday he was only authorized to confirm that his client decided to grant an interview to Sawyer after meeting her Saturday in West Palm Beach. ABC said the interview would be taped, but declined to say when and where. ABC said the woman will not be paid for the interview.
