WHERE’S THE DEAL? The new Forbes list of the nation’s 400 biggest privately held companies includes six in Orange County. But three major developers among them--the Irvine Co. and the Koll and William Lyon companies of Newport Beach--have all dropped from their positions on last year’s list. . . . “It’s the recession,” Koll spokeswoman Linda Lane says. “Deals aren’t as easy to make.”
