RITZ WHO? Orange County’s most posh hotel may be the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel--in Dana Point. . . . General Manager Henry Schielein says Dana Point officials asked recently that the hotel use the name “Monarch Beach.” Schielein knows it’s a matter of local civic pride, but says, “Who the hell knows Monarch Beach?” . . . He suggests with a chuckle: “I might just change it to ‘the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel on Monarch Beach in Dana Point.’ That will make everybody happy.”
