Police in Tallahassee, Fla., will not file charges against six Florida State football players who were prevented from taking a flight to Miami after they became verbally abusive to airline employees.
Police said the players were: sophomore linebacker Marvin Jones, sophomore linebacker Sterling Palmer, senior fullback Paul Moore, sophomore linebacker Dulack Guerrier, freshman defensive back Devin Bush and freshman linebacker Tyrant Marion.
The players had just returned from Florida State’s 10-2 victory over Texas A&M; in the Cotton Bowl and were awaiting another flight Thursday night.
Seven police officers were called to the airport and calmed the players down. The players were allowed on a later flight.
