The Indiana Supreme Court ruled that the rape trial of former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson may be transmitted by closed-circuit television from the courtroom to a media room.

Tyson, 25, was indicted by a county grand jury on one count of rape, two counts of criminal deviate conduct and one count of confinement for an alleged attack on an 18-year-old Miss Black America contestant last July. His trial is scheduled to begin Jan. 27 in Marion Superior Court in Indianapolis.
