Police Shot At as They Serve Warrant
San Diego police officers were shot at Friday as they served a search warrant in Logan Heights, but no one was injured, police said.
Police had little information on the shooting, which occurred about 6 p.m. at a residence in the 4700 block of Ocean View Boulevard, Sgt. Jess Havin said.
The officers, narcotics investigators, were fired upon while serving the warrant and returned fire, Havin said, but he had no information on whether anyone was arrested or how many shots were fired.
The police homicide unit, which looks into all officer-involved shootings, was investigating, Havin said.
