ORANGE : New Speed Limits for East-Side Roads
The City Council recently approved an ordinance enforcing new speed limits for several new roads on the city’s east side.
The speed limits--which took effect last week--will be: 45 m.p.h. on Chapman Avenue from Newport Boulevard to Jamboree Road; 35 m.p.h. on Canyon View Avenue from White Oak Ridge Road to Jamboree Road and from Newport Boulevard to White Oak Ridge Road; 50 m.p.h. on Jamboree Road from the south city limits to Canyon View Avenue; 45 m.p.h. from Canyon View Avenue to Santiago Canyon Road and 35 m.p.h. from Chapman Avenue to Santiago Canyon Road.
The speed limit will be 40 m.p.h. on Newport Boulevard from Chapman Avenue to Santiago Canyon Road; from the south city limits to Canyon View Avenue and from Canyon View Avenue to Chapman Avenue.
The speed limit will be 35 m.p.h. on Santiago Canyon Road from Newport Boulevard to Jamboree Road and on White Oak Ridge Road from Newport Boulevard to Canyon View Avenue.
