James K. Looney has been appointed vice president of development of the Claremont Graduate School. His duties will include fund raising and institutional development.
Looney has been vice president and regional manager of Donald A. Campbell & Co., a national consulting firm specializing in nonprofit organizations. In 1985 Looney managed the Claremont Graduate School’s $50-million “Campaign for Preeminence.”
Looney, who graduated from Whittier College, is a member of the National Society of Fund Raising Executives, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education and the Assn. for Hospital Development.
