For help with family violence issues, Ventura County residents can call the following organizations:
* The Ventura County Coalition Against Household Violence operates a batterer’s hot line (656-4861), a battered women’s shelter hot line (656-1111) and a child abuse listening line (656-4810).
* Interface: Children and Family Services of Ventura County has lines for callers from various areas of the county. Numbers are 496-1994, 529-0975, 647-7855 and 1-800-556-6607. The organization can be reached through a telecommunications device for the deaf (TDD) line at 498-5660.
