Myla Fahn, owner of the Beverly Hills Doll Co., specializes in custom porcelain sculptures. Working from a couple’s photograph, she produces mirror-image miniature figures, copying the clients’ facial expressions, hairstyles and jewelry. Tiny wedding dresses are fashioned from hand-beaded silk trimmed with antique lace. Prices, which include a glass display case, start at $500.

Fahn, whose antique dolls and Teddy bears are featured in the movie “Hook,” also creates “room boxes”--clones of people in their offices, homes or other settings--priced $500 and up.
