Remembering a Friend: The rock group Queen is planning a tribute concert to its late singer Freddie Mercury, who died of AIDS last November. The Easter Sunday concert in London’s Wembley Stadium was announced by the band at the Brit Awards ceremony in London. Queen has invited George Michael, Elton John, Rod Stewart, Eric Clapton, Madonna and Guns N’ Roses to appear. Proceeds from the televised concert will go to AIDS charities worldwide.
