Robert A. Fox has been appointed president of Revlon International. The announcement was made in New York by Jerry W. Levin, president of Revlon Inc., to whom Fox will report. Fox will have responsibility for all international markets selling Revlon cosmetics, fragrances and toiletries. Revlon is now sold in more than 100 countries.

Fox’s career includes recent posts at Continental Can Co., where he was president and chief operating officer; RJR Nabisco, where he was president and chief executive of RJR Tobacco International, based in Geneva; chairman and chief executive of Del Monte Corp., and vice chairman of Nabisco Brands.

Prior to RJR Nabisco, Fox held a series of positions with Norton Simon Inc., including executive vice president of Hunt Wesson Foods, and president and chief executive of Canada Dry International, based in London.
