San Marino : Pool to Be Renovated

Share

The city will pay $300,000 to renovate the pool at San Marino High School, the City Council decided Wednesday.

Improvements will include replacing worn decking, draining and piping systems; installing new gutter and filtration systems, and repairing tile and plaster.

The engineering firm Aquatic Design Group will begin work immediately and is expected to complete the project by August.

Concerns about potential liability due to the dilapidated condition of the pool, and the discovery that the pool is leaking about 6,000 gallons of water each day, prompted the decision to renovate it, City Manager Keith Till said.
