Student Services Gets Money for 2 Programs
The California Community College chancellor’s office has awarded two grants to Rio Hondo College’s Student Services Department.
A $54,203 grant will assist displaced homemakers and women who are single parents.
An $11,122 grant will be used to reduce sex bias and stereotyping in vocational technical programs through counseling, workshops and printed material.
