Small Plane Hits Fence at Airport
FULLERTON —
A single-engine plane ran off the runway at Fullerton Airport and hit a fence Saturday afternoon, but no one was injured, officials said.
Airport Director Roland Elder said the 3 p.m. incident occurred when the unidentified pilot, who was alone aboard the aircraft, apparently landed too quickly.
“Just a little fender-bender,” Elder said.
The airport was closed for one hour as a precaution.
The pilot was not identified.
