Presidential hopefuls and the greatest of them all promote themselves on the small screen all weekend long.

Democratic presidential candidate Paul Tsongas outlines his technological agenda on “TechnoPolitics,” today at 3:30 p.m. on KCET Channel 28. In town this week to raise funds for his campaign, Tsongas also subjects himself to an interview with Linda Douglass on KNBC Channel 4’s “News Conference,” Sunday at 6:30 a.m.

Nebraska Sen. Bob Kerrey and former California Gov. Jerry Brown, each coming off their most successful week in the presidential race, appear on “This Week With David Brinkley,” Sunday at 10 a.m. (7)(10), 3 p.m. (3)(42).

C-SPAN, meanwhile, will televise three debates among the Democratic contenders, starting today at 6:30 p.m. with a get-together in Denver. Tsongas, Brown and Arkansas Gov. Bill Clinton are confirmed to face off again at 4 p.m. Sunday in Atlanta, and C-SPAN will also carry a debate scheduled in Maryland Sunday at 6:30 p.m.

And “Muhammad Ali’s 50th Birthday Celebration” airs Sunday at 9 p.m. on ABC (3)(7)(10)(42). Billy Crystal, Howard Cosell, Whitney Houston and Diana Ross are among those scheduled to attend this party/benefit for the United Negro College Fund that will feature a tribute to the former heavyweight champion by boxers Joe Frazier, Floyd Patterson, Larry Holmes, George Foreman, Sugar Ray Leonard and Ken Norton.
