Britain’s Nigel Mansell had the fastest lap by more than a second in qualifying for Sunday’s Formula One race in Johannesburg, South Africa, the first such event in South Africa in seven years. Mansell had a fast lap of 1 minute 15.576 seconds on the 2.64-mile Kyalami track. He averaged 126.119 m.p.h.
