VENTURA : Man Arrested After Car Crash Injures 1

A Topanga Canyon man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after his sports car crashed off the Pacific Coast Highway and rolled over, seriously injuring a passenger, authorities said.
Karina Ann Roy, 18, of Woodland Hills was taken to Ventura County Medical Center with major head injuries and was in stable condition, a hospital spokeswoman said. Roy, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the car in the 1:30 a.m. accident, authorities said.
Brian J. Hunt, 35, suffered minor cuts and remains in County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail, authorities said.
Hunt lost control of his Porsche when it drifted off the highway near Sycamore Cove, authorities said.
