Antiochian Leader Joins Celebration
The Most Rev. Metropolitan Philip Saliba, leader of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America, will join the celebration as St. Mark Antiochian Orthodox Church of Irvine purchases a permanent place of worship.
A banquet in his honor will be held tonight at the Sheraton Hotel Newport Beach, and a 10 a.m. liturgy is planned for Sunday, also at the hotel.
