The Laguna Art Museum raised more than $25,000 Monday with a presentation of “Washington’s Week in Review” at the Le Meridien hotel in Newport Beach. About 350 attended, according to a museum spokesperson.
“A Night of Mirth and Magic” raised about $7,000 over the weekend for the S.E.E. Center for the Advancement of Deaf Children, an organization based in Los Alamitos that supports early identification of deafness. The benefit took place at Chapman University in Orange.
