ALTADENA : 5 Hurt as RTD Driver Suffers Seizure, Hits Pole

Five people were hurt Monday when an RTD bus crashed into a power pole in Altadena after the driver apparently suffered a seizure.
The collision occurred about 12:45 p.m. at Woodbury Road and Lincoln Avenue, said Rick Jager, a spokesman for the transit district. “The driver suffered some kind of seizure and his bus jumped a curb and hit the pole,” Jager said.
The driver, two women and two children aboard the bus were taken to Huntington Memorial Hospital.
