ANAHEIM — Two men were shot and killed as they stood near a grave site at the Melrose Abbey Cemetery on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The men, in their early 20s, suffered several gunshot wounds, Anaheim Police Lt. John Cross said. They were not immediately identified.
Police received reports of several gunshots at 4:48 p.m. near Anaheim Stadium, Cross said. Witnesses told police they saw two men running from the graveyard after the shooting.
Cross said it appeared that the two men were shot with a handgun, but no weapon has been found.
