Chris Henderson and Mike Lapper of UCLA scored second-half goals, and the United States beat Mexico, 2-1, as the final round of Olympic soccer qualifying began.
The United States, Mexico, Canada and Honduras are playing in a round-robin group to determine the two teams that qualify for the Barcelona Games from the North and Central American and Caribbean region.
