Grammy Scoop: Look for an announcement Wednesday from Mayor Tom Bradley that the Grammy Awards will return to Los Angeles next February after two years in New York. Advance word is that the music industry’s top awards show will be held at the Forum in Inglewood, which can accommodate up to 18,000 people, rather than at the 6,300-seat Shrine Auditorium, the past site of most Grammy shows in Los Angeles. Mike Greene, president of the Grammy-sponsoring National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, has long expressed an interest in holding the nationally televised event in a larger facility to allow more members of the public, industry staffers and stars to attend. New York’s Madison Square Garden also had been a candidate for the 1993 event.
