Countywide : Ueberroth to Speak at Economic Summit
Peter V. Ueberroth will be the featured speaker at the Ventura County Summit on Economic Vitality on May 18 in Thousand Oaks, officials said Friday.
Ueberroth, best known for organizing the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles and as Major League Baseball commissioner, is chairman of the Governor’s Council on California Competitiveness, a bipartisan group trying to improve the state’s business climate.
The summit at the Sherwood Country Club is being organized by the Board of Supervisors.
