Roberto G. Cervantes, who was identified by witnesses at the scene as the gunman, is being sought in connection with the homicide, said Sgt. Denny Phillips of the Oxnard Police Department.

Officers called to the scene of a family dispute in the 2800 block of South M Street about 8:40 p.m. Sunday found the two victims inside the house, Phillips said. Police are trying to piece together a motive for the shooting, Phillips said.
