A 17-year-old girl says she was raped by two military dependents and a civilian after a party here, military officials said Wednesday.

The case is under investigation by the Naval Investigative Service, and no charges have been filed, said Marine Sgt. Rene Reyna of the base Public Affairs Office.

The girl identified her alleged attackers, Reyna said, but their names were withheld.

The teen-ager told authorities that she was raped by at least three males after a party Saturday that included heavy drinking, Reyna said. She said the attack occurred at the Wire Mountain II housing area, Reyna said.

No other information about the victim or alleged rapists was released.

A decision about whether to bring charges will be made in conjunction with the U.S. attorney’s office in San Diego after the NIS investigation is completed, Reyna said.

The U.S. attorney is responsible for prosecution in crimes committed by civilians on military property.
