A SPECIAL REPORT: COPING WITH THE VIOLENCE

Share

HOLLYWOOD HELPER: A Fullerton religious group called Homefront loaded up both its vans and volunteers’ vehicles Saturday morning. Their destination: the heart of Hollywood Boulevard with food and clothing for riot victims. The Rev. Ed Borrowe called the experience “unforgettable.”. . . . “We fed hundreds and hundreds of people,” he said. “One man had six children, no job, no food, and his apartment building had burned to the ground in the riots. He was grateful for anything.”
