OXNARD : Raiders to Return for Training Camp
The Los Angeles Raiders will return to their summer training camp in Oxnard for a seventh year, a spokesman with the team said.
The football team will stay at the Radisson Suite Hotel on Vineyard Avenue, using two adjacent practice fields for training sessions beginning in early July. A 5,000-square-foot training facility, which includes quarters for the team’s physician, is also available to the team, said Bob Burk, the hotel’s director of marketing.
“We’re delighted that they’re coming back,” Burk said.
About 125 team players, trainers and staff will be housed at the hotel, he said.
