Roy Campanella, the former Dodger catcher and a member of the club’s community relations department, has been hospitalized at Northridge Medical Center for a skin condition that his wife, Roxy, said Sunday is not serious. The condition, she said, is known as decubitus, which is similar to bedsores. Campanella will undergo a surgical process Wednesday.
