VENTURA : Police Seek Man Who Robbed Bank
Ventura police Tuesday were searching for a man who robbed the Bank of A. Levy on Telephone Road.
The man entered the bank at 2:15 p.m. Monday and indicated that he had a weapon, police said.
He demanded cash from a clerk and then fled after receiving it, officials said.
No one was hurt, police said.
The amount of cash taken has not been determined, officials said.
The bank robbery is the 12th committed in Ventura this year, said Larry Dick, an agent with the county’s FBI office.
Forty-three bank robberies have taken place countywide since Jan. 1, Dick said.
