Faria Wins His Second Race of the Season

COSTA MESA — Mike Faria of Colton won the four-lap scratch main event during the weekly speedway motorcycle program at the Orange County Fairgrounds Friday. It was his second victory of the season.
The race was stopped after two laps because of a crash between Bobby Schwartz of Costa Mesa and Robert Pfetzing of Orange. Schwartz was disqualified.
Pfetzing finished second and Scott Brant of Riverside was third.
