SANTA CLARITA : Entries Accepted in City Motto Contest
The city of Santa Clarita has begun accepting entries for a contest to find a motto that “should give a sense of who we are in Santa Clarita,” Mayor Jill Klajic said.
The entries, which will be judged by the City Council, will be accepted until June 15. The winning motto will be used on city stationery and logos.
Entries must be submitted to the city’s public information office on a 3-by-5-inch card with the contestant’s name, address and phone number printed on the opposite side. Entrants must live in the city.
The winner will receive a dinner for two at a Santa Clarita restaurant, a $25 gift certificate for a local supermarket and a free family portrait sitting at a professional photography studio.
