SIMI VALLEY : Public Session on Budget Plan Slated
Simi Valley residents will be able to discuss the city’s proposed 1992-93 budget with city staff members at a public meeting Thursday.
The session begins at 6:30 p.m. in the community room at Simi Valley City Hall, 2929 Tapo Canyon Road.
Residents will be able to ask questions or comment on the proposed $28.3-million spending plan, which calls for continuing present city service and staffing levels.
Copies of the proposed budget are available for review at City Hall and at the public library, 2969 Tapo Canyon Road.
The City Council will conduct additional public review sessions before taking a final vote, which is tentatively scheduled for June 22. The budget covers day-to-day city operations for the fiscal year that begins July 1.
