EL CAJON : 2 Plead Not Guilty in Arson at Schools

Two El Cajon men accused of setting fires at two elementary schools pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges of arson and burglary.

David Arthur Northam, 20, and his half-brother, Robby Todd Johnson, 25, were ordered held in lieu of $200,000 bail by Municipal Judge Harvey Hiber.

Both men are charged with two counts of arson and seven counts of second-degree burglary. They are accused of setting fires last week at Chase Avenue Elementary School and Cuyamaca Elementary School that caused total damage estimated at more than $150,000.
