Good Morning, Sunday: A Sunday edition of “Good Morning America” was among the new programs announced by ABC this week. The as-yet-untitled program, to debut on Jan. 3, will have new co-hosts but use the same set as the existing program. . . . Also upcoming is “The Way Things Work,” an animated series made by the Children’s Television Workshop using prehistoric woolly mammoths to teach children the scientific principles behind tools and machines. The program is set to join the network’s Saturday morning schedule during the 1993-94 season. . . . And “The American Television Awards,” a new awards show recognizing top performances and programs on American television in the previous year, will air in May, 1993.
