John Daly Still Has a Long Distance to Go
Jim Murray tries to extol the virtues of long-hitting John Daly, but it just does not wash (June 9).
Daly already has shown signs of waning popularity and remains a long way from comparisons with golfing greats Snead, Hogan, Nelson and Nicklaus.
If Mr. Daly continues to hit them long and crooked, the next tour he will play on is the Gray Line.
