Plans for Beach Boulevard: It may not be the Champs-Elysees of Paris or Park Avenue in New York, but Beach Boulevard in Buena Park does have a certain amount of charm.

Where else can you stop in for dinner at a horse show (Medieval Times) or visit the waxen likeness of the tallest man who ever lived (Ripley’s Believe It or Not! museum), all within a few blocks?

Recognizing the uniqueness--not to mention the untapped potential--of Beach Boulevard, the city has started a beautification project of its “entertainment corridor” along with free tram service.

The Stay ‘n Play Buena Park Shuttle Bus will take hotel guests to Beach Boulevard’s hot spots, as well Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm and the Buena Park Mall.

The city is also installing 100 street banners along the corridor from Orangethorpe Avenue south to Crescent Avenue. In the future, the area will also get new street lamps, landscaping and better crosswalks.
