Pan Pacific Panda: Speaking of mascots, the Pan Pacific Hotel in Anaheim has chosen a giant panda bear as its official symbol.
The 5-foot, 7-inch “Pandi Panda” will “help reinforce name recognition of the hotel and build goodwill among its markets,” according to the hotel. It will be making guest appearances at hospitals and schools and will, of course, greet guests in the lobby.
