Quarterback Mark Rypien, who led the Washington Redskins to the Super Bowl title, will meet with the CFL’s Toronto Argonauts today.
They reportedly plan to discuss a two-year offer worth $6 million, although Argo spokesman Mike Cosentino said he was “not really at liberty to say much about that.”
Rypien, selected the most valuable player in the Super Bowl after leading Washington to a 37-24 victory over the Buffalo Bills, was born in Calgary.
